There’s something about being able to “people-watch” on the internet, a certain wonder at being able to see individuals from a completely different setting than the one you’re in.

I am a little bit obsessed with (read: absolutely LOVE) this series. And because I finally saw its third installment this weekend, I thought I’d take a look back at its past movie posters and do them in watercolor.
Because I have been busy tending to my pet houseplants lately, and Matisse was a master at making them look so interesting and playful.

Sometimes when I need to relax my mind and do some practice painting, I like to browse through my Sartorialist books and copy his images in watercolor.
