On a trip to Europe a few months back, I found myself quite enamored with all the pretty street lamps and how in every city, in every neighborhood, and sometimes even in every few streets, they changed to reflect certain moods.
That said, I took a million photos of lamps and am slowly working my way towards painting them all, gathering a few new ones along the way.
Street lamps can say so much about a city.
Practice painting textures.
Building on the hidden theme, every piece was created by layering two images on top of each other, one in red and one in green. The individual images could be viewed through respective red or green films. Something like this! Thank you to those who came and checked it out.
P.S. Tofu asked some musicians to collaborate with us for the exhibit and compose songs inspired by the visual artwork. Loved the song created by an artist/group called Imran for my piece. Hope to get a copy of it soon to share!
Not among my favorite Woody Allen movies, but still thoroughly enjoyable (and oh so very pretty) to watch.
